For all the wrong reasons. And reasons for wrongs were abundant back then. Whether it's just the cold at the change of the seasons Or a weary heart longing for a break.
As we paced back,
slowly, under the cover of shadows I couldn't help but notice how serene it all was. Dissipating
As we travel further from the lamppost's limelight Gaining the semblance of ghosts.
But today, That farewell Is all I seem to remember. With promises of nothing, rapidly coming true. And still

I was there by mistake
For the sake of this subject. However delib'rate my presence there was. Unaware, I was there. Diff'rent target - well chosen Turns out fairly shameful consid'ring the cause.
Enter energy;
From a place unpredicted. Enter energy; From a surprising new source.
And the relative peace in my life - Dissolves.
